The Gallery is a great local spot. The service is top notch and the food is fantastic. On this last visit, I had the crawfish etouffee. It was fantastic. Smooth, creamy, and full of crawfish tails. If you have never had this dish, this is the place to try it out. You won't be dissapointed.
Owner and Server were both friendly. My meal was delicious and tasted fresh. I was especially impressed with the flavor and size of the oysters. The chargrilled oysters were done to perfection.
Great local seafood spot. the food and service were awesome. Everything was seasoned and prepared perfectly.
Absolutely a gem. Had no idea about this place, yet they have been a staple at Jazz Fest since 1977! We started with alligator bites but forgot to take a photo. It's 6 to a plate, and they were delicious, kind of like a crab dressing but made with alligator meat. Then we had salads while waiting for our meals. He had soft shell crabs with corn grits, and I had crawfish bisque. Oooo wee, someone's grandma is cooking it up in that kitchen! We had leftovers for the next day. We also tried the bread pudding because how could you not have a 5 star meal without it. It was a blend of a bread pudding mixed with a carrot cake. Scrumptious! We'll be back for sure. The staff was also an A+ super busy but very attentive to everything. Drinks were refilled without a blink. Dirty plates were removed in seconds.
Always the best place for seafood, soup, and a good time! Been coming here with my family since before i could walk and it stands as one of our oldest traditions to have dinner or lunch here at least once a week. The staff are the absolute best! Carey will always take care of ya idk who would ever give this place less than 5 stars, if you have the chance… get some boiled crabs, onion rings and a cup o soup and let em know Clare sent ya!
Fantastic seafood spot that hits on all fronts. The fried crab claws were really incredible, never had something quite like that before. Got the fried platter of oysters, catfish, and shrimp, and they were all incredible. Super fresh and made to order. Really everything we ordered was great, highly recommend stopping here.
